Fifty-five players began the First Round of the Cider Ridge Junior Amateur. After a two-hour hour delay Wednesday morning, play was ultimately suspended due to inclement weather.
After weighing all factors, the JGA decided to shorten the championship to an 18-hole and 9-hole event, due to weather and unfit course conditions. Round 1 play resumed promptly at 8:00 a.m. Thursday morning.
Jackson Askew of Jacksonville, AL, and Caden Campbell of Warrior, AL tied for first in the Boys 14-18 Age Division, with an overall score of 77. After a scorecard playoff, Caden Campbell took home gold.
- Bronze Medalist: Grady Martin of Gordo, AL (80)
- Silver Medalist: Makayla Bearden of Gadsden, AL (83)
- Bronze Medalist: Lily Kate Mure of Helena, AL (88)
Cannon Rainer of Rainsville, AL was victorious i n the Boys 12-13 Age Division with an overall score of 97.
- Silver Medalist: Timothy Baker of Hoover, AL (102)
Aspen Hicks of Hoover, AL was victorious in t he Girls 12-13 Age Division with an overall score of 107.
In the Boys 9-11 Age Division, Manning Askew of Oxford, AL claimed gold with an overall score of 75.
- Silver Medalist: Bryce Shelton of Rogersville, AL (79)
- Bronze Medalist: Landon Cunningham of Huntsville, AL (83)
In t he Girls 9-11 Age Division, Ellie Aultman of Mountain Brook, AL took home gold with an overall score of (82).
In the Boys 9-11 (9-Hole) Division, Cayse Ackerman of Kimberly, AL posted an overall score of 36 to claim first.

- Bronze Medalist: Trooper Rainer of Rainsville, AL (43)
In the Girls 9-11 (9-Hole) Age Division, Evangeline Lang of Fort Payne, AL took home gold with an overall score of (38).
- Silver Medalist: Hailey Johnson of Pelham, AL (44)
- Bronze Medalist: Fuller Denson of Mountain Brook, AL (45)
Jax Key of Kimberly claimed gold in the Boys 6-8 Age Division with an overall score of 38.
- Silver Medalist: John Isaiah Baker of Hoover, AL (42)
- Bronze Medalist: Townes Allen of Birmingham, AL (46)

The 2026 JGA Tour continues with its third event of the year, the Blackberry Trail Junior Amateur, June 2-3, 2026.
